http://www.openoffice.org Freeware version of Microsoft Office, yes it will do everything Microsoft charges you 300 plus dollars for and it will create pdf files at no additional cost and yes it is free.
http://www.ubuntu.com My favorite version of Linux, Scoot over Microsoft it just works better than Windows and they aren’t butt heads. You can now buy new Dell computers with Ubuntu preinstalled
